Hi again-
Well, school has started, so these posts probably won't be as frequent as they were, but I'll do my best. :) These pictures are from Tuesday (I think). It was HOT, so when I got home from school, I picked up Jules, and we got a hose! :) We filled up her pool, and hooked up an Elmo sprinkler that our neighbors handed down to us. (so nice). These pictures kind of tell the story of how the sprinker went. We couldn't actually turn it on--getting wet is apprently scary. :) However, visiting with Elmo, bringing him into the pool, and (after seeing that Elmo was dripping) asking if Elmo was pooping, were all okay. If you see, Elmo is sitting on a ring that looks similar to Julia's little potty seat--I think that's where the question came from. :) Never a dull moment. After the interest in Elmo faded, Julia's friend Hannah came over to join us. She's so nice!
Not much else is new I guess. Julia seems to have suddenly learned the ABC's. I guess after all the singing, its finally coming out. That is fun. I think they sing a lot at her daycare, because when she's home, she's just singing all the time. Another favorite is "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." Also, Julia slept one whole night on her pre-bed (i.e. mattress)! Only one, but its a start I guess. We're going to try to wean her off of her Nuk for sleeping this weekend. Sounds like a time for me to "pretend" sleep. Hey, I deserve that once in a while, right? :) Just kidding!!!!
Anyway, we're hoping to have a good weekend before the rat race begins, and we hope that you have a fun one, too!!
Love,
Mandy
