Well, here are a BUNCH of picture from the last couple of weeks. We have had fun! We have also been busy with swimming lessons and trying to organize and get rid things that we no longer need or have accumulated before we start packing! T-12 days!! Wow!
Lauren has decided that she would like to crawl! And pull herself up to standing on whatever she can find, including the couch and the side of the bathtub. She is a little monkey and we have to ALWAYS have an eye on her. :) She continues to smile a lot and it talking up a storm lately. She seems to understand us at times. We have asked her for kisses and had a successful drooly result! She also seems to know what we mean when we ask her to clap. Although she hasn't mastered that yet, she sure tries!
Julia is trying to take in the concept of moving. She seems to be having a hard time and frequently tells us she doesn't want to move. This is a little hard, and sometime she is acting out with tantrums which make us mad and sympathetic at the same time. We're hopeful that she will be okay once we make the move. When she being her regular old self she is still using her active imagination to entertain us all. :)
Here are some photo highlights from the past few weeks:
Lauren made it under the kitchen table!
Julia having fun at the playground.
Lauren had to get in on the action and pull herself up on the climber too!
We got to visit a cottage on Green Bay--it was wonderful!
Grandma and Grandpa Severtson came to visit last weekend.
We got to hang out with them in Door County. It was a
beautiful weekend!!
Julia made friends with some random strangers who let
her use their fishing rod! She caught this prize fish. :)
Julia's face while describing the sliminess of
the fish she caught!
Last night, Julia and I "camped out" in the back yard.
Here she is before a successful night of sleeping!
And we made it!! :) Julia thought this was great fun
and has asked to sleep in the tent again.
