Happy Birthday, Julia!

Last weekend, we celebrated Julia's 5th Birthday. I can't believe she is already 5. Wow. Grandma Jana, Grandpa John, Uncle Andrew, and Aunt Tammy were so nice to make the trip up here for a little party. Julia got lots of great gifts and had fun playing with everyone. :) Unfortunately, that night she came down with the flu, so she didn't really get to say a proper good bye to everyone when they left on Sunday, but she sure appreciated them being here!

We are starting to get into the "oh my gosh" stages of realizing that baby #3 will be here soon. If I make it all the way to my due date (Nov. 26), I have about 8 weeks left. People continue to comment on how awful it is that I have so long to go. Apparently I look huge. WHATEVER. She will be here soon and hopefully we will be ready. There is quite a lot to do between now and then!

Not much else is new here. Lauren is continuing to talk away, adding many new words every day. She is such a sponge and knows so many things that are just now coming out of her mouth. She is very funny and seems to understand a little about the fact that a baby will be coming to "stay" at our house. She seems excited. We'll see... :)

David is in the middle of a hellish run at work that includes lots and lots of recitals, rehearsals, deadlines, etc. He is pretty pooped out, but things should settle down near the end of this month, just in time for the little one! Then we can all rest. RIGHT! :)

Thanks to all of you for checking in on us. We wish you a nice weekend! It is cold here but the fall colors are really beautiful lately.
