Severtson Sisters

Well, here it is already Thursday.  My intention was to get these pictures up on Monday!  :)  

This last weekend we had Anna's baptism.  It was such a fun weekend.  We had a lot of wonderful company and it was a great time!

Anna's sponsors were my sister, Anne and my best friend, Elizabeth.  We also had both sets of grandparents come, Anne's boyfriend Kyle, Uncle Andrew, Elizabeth's daughter, Micaela, and my good friends Sarah and Sarah. :)   It was a great crowd to have.

As you might remember, Anna is named after my good friend Breanna who unexpectedly passed away this summer.  I was taken aback during Anna's baptism, as at exactly the moment Pastor Luther touched her head with the water, Anna gave me this huge smile.  Then again, when he was giving her the blessing (with both hands surrounding her head--maybe not the most comfortable thing?!) she broadly smiled again!  I couldn't help but think that Breanna was smiling at us and letting us know she's okay. Maybe that sounds cheesy, but that is what happened!  It was hard not to tear up.  We miss you, Breanna!!  

A bit later in the service, David and Julia sang a song together. It was great.  Julia didn't even seem nervous!  I'll attach a video of their song from an at-home performance above.

So, we had a wonderful weekend.  My friends who came stayed on until Monday, so we had fun talking, watching the Packers win, and just catching up.  It was good for my soul.

Only one week of maternity leave left!  This has gone by so quickly!  I will miss being home with the girls, but I am excited to have adult conversations and have a little time to think about "my" stuff at school.
