Hi everyone!
We had a really fun weekend here in Wisconsin. On Friday, Julia attended her first political rally. :) We went to see Barack Obama speak, and Julia thought it was quite the deal. I think she actually did like seeing all of the people cheer. She tried to hold her books up a few times like they were signs like the other people were holding up. Funny.
On Saturday, we went to Klondike Days in Eagle River to see our great friend Gene. Julia was a trooper on a cold day, and we stayed for around 2 hours. We got to go on a sleigh ride through the woods, which was very fun. Julia liked seeing the horses, and of course, seeing Gene. She did, however, definitely let us know when it was time to go through loud crying and whining. Can you say, "I'm two!?"
On Sunday, we had a big snow storm blow through here. About 4:00, we decided we'd better try to shovel out our driveway. Since there was so much, both David and I had to shovel, which meant that Julia had to play by herself with us. It took at least an hour to get it all done! As you can see in the pictures, our snow piles are pretty high! Julia got a little bit tired of waiting for us, so she just decided to curl up on her sled until we were done. :) Funny girl.
We hope you are all well! We are having fun in all of the snow, but are starting to hope for Spring...anyone else feel that way? :)

Love,
Us
