Hi everyone! I am sorry for not updating this for awhile. Turns out that moving makes you feel like there is always something to do! :) Here is an update since we last wrote:

On July 31st, we moved into our new house! We had a great bunch of friends and my parents here to help us and it was amazing how quickly it happened! The most stressful part was moving the piano and even that went well with all of our great movers!

Grandma Mary and Grandpa Rich stayed for more than a week to help us with things in our new house. It was so nice to have them around. We got the lawn seeded, some shelving put up, towel bars hung, and many other things that would have been hard to do had it been just David and I. I actually had a class all week after we moved in, so not only did Grandma and Grandpa help with the house, they watched the girls all day while I was at school! They all seemed to have a good time. :)

Before they left, we managed to take one day off and go up to Door County. Mom and Dad hadn't been there for 15 years or so! We had a fun day sight-seeing. It was sad to see them go, but we sure enjoyed having them here.

Since they left, we have been getting used to our new house! The girls seem to enjoy it and have been having fun with their new surroundings. Julia and Lauren now share a room, which has turned out to be pretty cool. I think they both like it. Last night I went in to cover Lauren up before I went to bed and she already had a blanket on her. Looks like her big sister took care of that already. :)

The last week has been especially fun because our grass is starting to grow!! You have no idea how great it is to not have mud to look at all the time. :) Grandpa Rich and David worked really hard to get our hard, rocky soil in shape for a lawn and it is paying off! I think in another week or week and a half we might even be able to mow! We'll see.

We are all gearing up for the school year to start. Next week we will begin the rat race for a few days, and then on September 1st, school starts with kids, so it'll be for real. Julia is going to be going to Pre-School this year, which is at a different location than Lauren's daycare, so that will be a change. Hopefully it will go smoothly. I think Julia will love a more structured setting more focused on learning. Hopefully she can listen to the teachers better than she listens to us... :)

Lauren has been keeping us on our toes. She is a little monkey! She crawls everywhere, pulls herself up to standing on everything, and finds every little tiny piece of lint on the floor and tries to eat it. :) She is still so strong, and definitely spends the majority of her day with a smile on her face.

Well, that's the long overdue update from Wisconsin. At the bottom of this post is a video we took today of the house. I thought that might be better than a bunch of pictures. We are definitely not all unpacked, and there are little messes all over, but you'll get the picture. :) Thanks for checking in on us!! :)
