Severtson Sisters

 After Grandma and Grandpa left, we had about 11 more days until Dad came home.  We made it!  We kept really busy by going to swimming lessons and Bible School.  We even had a fun time!  :)  In the evenings, I got hooked on the series "Downton Abbey."  It was something to help me unwind and relax at night!

Before we knew it, David was home!!  We made him a sign to help welcome him home!

David got to be home a whole 1 1/2 days before we took off on a trek to Bemidji, MN to go to Grandpa John and Grandma Jana's cabin.  We left around 8:15 on Thursday morning.  We had already stopped by about 9:00 because Anna was looking a little pale...we should have known it was going to be a long day.  We made it to Cadott, our favorite spot for stopping to eat a picnic, and then about an hour later we had the pleasure of Anna getting carsick.  Y. U. C. K.  We cleaned up and got back on the road (with the windows open a bit...)  The pictures below are actually after Anna got sick--we're going okay. :)  We made it to the cabin at 6:00 p.m.  Anna threw up again at about 5:55...nice timing!  At least there is a washing machine at the cabin!  We got her cleaned up and she was just fine!  

I didn't take as many pictures as I should have at the cabin, but here are a few.  The kids had a GREAT time playing together.  They played games, ran around, went swimming, went fishing, and many other things we probably don't know about. :)

If you look carefully, you can see the birdhouse that the kids made with the help of Grandpa!  It was cool!

Anna and Will-- When Anna says "Will" it sounds like "Wow."  Pretty cute!

We had a really great time seeing everyone!  The ride home went much better than the ride there!!  :)  We look forward to a trip again next summer!!
